🛠️ Technology Responsibilities Overview
HOPE Staff Responsibilities:
- Oversee school-wide tech systems, devices, and software platforms
- Approve tech purchases and manage inventory
- Provide technology support for staff and students
- Maintain documentation and update policies related to device usage and tech access
- Create Academic dashboards from Curriculum
Learning Site Responsibilities:
- Submit help desk tickets for staff and student
- First line of tech support for students - example “have you restarted your computer?”
- Help implement tech policies during student instruction
- Safeguard devices issued to students and mentors
- Track student devices at Learning Site
🧰 Tools & Systems Used
- Google Workspace (HOPE-managed):
- Gmail, Calendar, Classroom, and Chat are centrally supported and accessed through HOPE credentials
- HOPE IT provides training and troubleshooting upon request
- Google Drive:
- Store device agreements, help guides, and digital policy documents
- Upload tech updates using Right-click > File information > Manage versions to track document changes
- Use the Drive Activity panel to monitor edits to shared tech materials
- Google Sheets:
- Data from Edmentum, Exact Path, and WorkKeys wrapped up to Curriculum Dashboards
